A New Adventure

This is just a little experiment to play around with painting on photographs. The image was taken on my birthday in Iceland earlier this year – such a special birthday, a day of snow and then rippling green lights in the night time sky. I am just beginning the process of ordering my thoughts and ideas for my next body of work which I think will use a combination of 2D and 3D work with painting, photography, knitting and soft sculpture. The exciting news is that, what ever this body of work ends up becoming, I will be making it in a new town. I have a new job which is taking me all the way across Australia to Bunbury – I wonder what adventures will await me here.
